On October 6, the Volodarskaya linear production and dispatch station caught fire after an attack in the settlement of Konstantinovo, in Moscow Region’s Ramensky urban district.

The station is part of the petroleum-products transport infrastructure and is operated by Transneft–Verkhnyaya Volga through its Volodarskoye regional petroleum-products pipeline directorate.

The Volodarskaya station is the head station of the Moscow Ring Petroleum Products Pipeline. It receives, stores and pumps petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel and aviation kerosene, and is connected to supply routes serving Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports.

Industry descriptions say the station opened in 1972 and reached its designed capacity in 1973. A specialist source puts the capacity of its tank farm at about 250,000 cubic metres, although that figure may have changed after reconstruction work.

The station’s name does not indicate a location in the city of Volodarsk in Nizhny Novgorod Region: the facility is located in Konstantinovo, Moscow Region.

In May 2026, Ukraine’s Defence Ministry said that the Volodarskaya station had been hit during strikes on fuel infrastructure near Moscow, describing it as a key facility for receiving, distributing and pumping petroleum products. Planned fire-response exercises were held at the station in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
